Jeon Wonwoo, known mononymously as Wonwoo, is the main rapper of SEVENTEEN. Born on July 17, 1996, in Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province, South Korea, he joined Pledis Entertainment as a trainee in 2013 and debuted with SEVENTEEN in May 2015. His distinctively deep, husky voice — unusual among K-pop rappers who often favor higher, faster delivery — immediately set him apart as one of the group's most sonically distinctive members.

Wonwoo's rap style is contemplative and atmospheric, with a measured delivery that prioritizes emotional weight over speed. His contributions to SEVENTEEN's hip-hop unit complement S.Coups's commanding presence with a cooler, more brooding energy.
