Lee Chan, known by his stage name Dino, is the main dancer, vocalist, and maknae (youngest member) of SEVENTEEN. Born on February 11, 1999, in Iksan, Jeollabuk-do, South Korea, he joined Pledis Entertainment as a trainee at approximately age 12-13 — one of the youngest trainees in the SEVENTEEN lineup — and debuted with the group in May 2015 at just 16 years old. His stage name "Dino" was reportedly given by Hoshi, who thought his short trainee hairstyle resembled a dinosaur.

Dino's dance style is immediately characterized by the Michael Jackson influence that has been a passion since his earliest childhood. He frequently incorporates MJ-inspired movements — smooth isolations, popping mechanics, theatrical gestures — into both group choreography and his own solo performances.
