Jimin

Park Ji-min, known mononymously as Jimin, is the lead vocalist and main dancer of BTS. Born on October 13, 1995, in Busan, South Korea, he trained in contemporary dance at the Busan High School of Arts, where he was the top student. He was the last member to join Big Hit Entertainment as a trainee, arriving just a year before BTS's debut.

Jimin's artistry combines technically proficient contemporary dance with a sweet, emotive vocal tone that has become one of BTS's most distinctive sounds. His solo tracks within BTS — "Lie," "Serendipity," "Filter," and "Friends" — span genres from contemporary R&B to Latin pop, each showcasing different facets of his versatility. His stage presence is characterized by fluid, expressive movements that merge dance and emotion seamlessly.

In March 2023, Jimin released his debut solo album FACE, featuring the lead single "Like Crazy." The song debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, making Jimin the first Korean solo artist to top the chart. The album explored themes of loneliness, anxiety, and self-confrontation in the face of impending military service.

Jimin completed his military service in June 2025 alongside Jungkook. Known for his warmth, perfectionism, and deep bonds with both members and fans, he is consistently ranked among the most popular K-pop idols worldwide. His second solo album MUSE, released in July 2024, featured the hit single "Who" and further cemented his solo artistry.
