Miyeon

Cho Mi-yeon was born on January 31, 1997, in Seoul, South Korea. Before joining Cube Entertainment, she spent three years as a trainee at SM Entertainment, building a strong vocal and performance foundation before pursuing a new opportunity. After departing SM and joining Cube, she was selected as a debut member of (G)I-DLE, officially debuting on May 2, 2018. Her patient trainee journey — including a high-profile label transition — introduced her to fans as someone who persisted with quiet determination.

As (G)I-DLE's main vocalist, Miyeon brings a warm, crystalline vocal tone that serves as the group's melodic foundation.
