About Lee Know
Lee Know, born Lee Min-ho on October 25, 1998 in Gimpo, South Korea, is the main dancer, vocalist, and rapper of Stray Kids. Before joining JYP Entertainment, he was a trainee at BigHit Entertainment (now HYBE), where he trained alongside future members of BTS and TXT. He made the decision to transfer to JYP and auditioned for the Stray Kids survival reality show, where — despite being eliminated in the first episode — he was brought back as a wild card, ultimately becoming one of the group's most beloved members.
Lee Know is widely regarded as one of the finest dancers of his generation in K-pop. His technical precision is matched by an expressive stage presence that draws the eye in every performance. He has cited Michael Jackson, SHINee's Taemin, and his personal dance teachers as key influences on his style, which blends contemporary dance with street styles and theatrical performance art. His choreography execution on songs like "MIROH" and "MANIAC" has become iconic in the Stray Kids fandom.
Off stage, Lee Know is famous for his three cats — Soonie, Doongie, and Dori — who have become beloved personalities in their own right among Stray Kids fans. His deadpan wit and sharp humor make him a standout in variety content, and his interactions with members and fans are characterized by genuine warmth beneath his cool exterior. He frequently shares his cats on social media, and "Cat Dad" is as much a part of his identity as "Main Dancer."
Lee Know's journey from a nearly-eliminated contestant on a reality show to the main dancer of one of K-pop's biggest groups is one of the most compelling resilience stories in the genre's recent history. His artistry, authentic personality, and unwillingness to be defined by early setbacks have made him one of the most followed individual members in the Stray Kids fandom.
