Chaewon

Kim Chaewon was born on August 1, 2000, in Seoul, South Korea. Before her debut, she trained extensively at Woollim Entertainment, building a strong foundation in dance and vocals over several years. In 2018, she participated in Mnet's reality competition Produce 48, which aimed to form a Korean-Japanese girl group. Although she finished 18th and was not selected for IZ*ONE, her performance on the show significantly boosted her public recognition and introduced her to a wide fanbase.

After leaving Woollim, Chaewon joined Source Music and became a founding member of LE SSERAFIM, debuting on May 2, 2022. As the group's leader, she quickly established herself as a composed and reliable center figure, guiding the younger members and setting the group's performance tone.
