Yunjin

Huh Yunjin was born on October 8, 2001, in Seoul, South Korea, but spent much of her childhood and teenage years in Niskayuna, New York, USA — a bicultural upbringing that deeply shaped her artistic identity. Fluent in both Korean and English, she trained in the United States before returning to Korea to pursue her idol dream. She entered the HYBE ecosystem as a trainee at Big Hit Entertainment before eventually moving to Source Music.

Yunjin is one of the most artistically multifaceted members of LE SSERAFIM. She co-wrote and composed "I ≠ DOLL," a provocative track on the UNFORGIVEN album that challenges the objectification of idols and asserts their autonomy as complex human beings with real emotions and identities. The song was widely praised by fans and critics as a bold artistic statement rarely heard so explicitly in K-pop, sparking genuine industry conversation about the relationship between idol personas and authentic selfhood.
