"Haegeum" (해금) is a wordplay on both the traditional Korean string instrument and the concept of "lifting a ban." Suga critiques the constraints society places on individuals — from censorship to class barriers — while incorporating the haegeum's haunting sound into a modern trap production. The song represents the culmination of the Agust D trilogy, with Suga finally at peace with his dual identity.
